There’s a lot we want to tell you about Noble Truth™, but we guess a little background is in order...
In Buddhism there are the Four Noble Truths, which are the fundamental beliefs of what life is all about. Taking inspiration from that, our company is based on our truths:
we’re all here to do our thing.
the world and its people inspire me.
my energy manifests my destiny.
being me is my truth.
They’re four simple phrases, but it really sums up the philosophy of who we are as a company, the artists and partners we work with, and the people who will wear our apparel.
Our mission, if you can call it that, was to take on the most represented article of clothing, the t-shirt – and make it a meaningful canvas that allows you to make a TRUE statement. The Noble Truth™ collection is about the details that make up a perfect everyday shirt – including the feel, the cut and the color. Rounding out the aesthetic is the artwork and different artists speaking their truth on the canvas of our apparel. But then we take it another step redefining your favorite fashions by giving it a purpose. All of our t-shirts are made of bamboo, which is sustainable, ultra soft and, as an added bonus, biodegradable. So long after you’ve made your statement, your tee won’t be taking up space in a landfill somewhere.
Even our printing process is earth-friendly – featuring the exclusive use of vegetable and water-based inks and no harsh chemicals. From where the shirts are made and inked to where they are shipped from – it’s all done in the U.S. At the core of our philosophy is to not cut corners just to make a quick buck. That means using vendors who value sustainability. It also means contributing a portion of our net proceeds to 1% for the Planet and other green organizations. It’s a movement of positive energy through fashion that is an ideal mix of style, philosophy and sustainability.
At the helm of the Noble Truth™ line is our Artist Collection which includes commissioned work from various artists. Our collection becomes a meeting place for artists and art enthusiasts. We build platforms for artists to speak their truth on a medium that transcends genres. And we showcase affordable art for the public to not only have a limited edition piece, but to make a TRUE statement while wearing it.
